Its Kiera Jessica Marchant here in August 2022 I stayed at Futurotel Malagueta in Malaga Spain its a pod style hotel with a gaming zone interactive mirrors vending machines for food and drinks a jacuzzi tvs in the pods and more I booked through Booking com but of course there are many other ways you can book this hostel such as Trivago and Planet of Hotels Heres the address of Futurotel Malagueta C Maestranza 20 29016 Mlaga Spain The staff were lovely when I arrived it was quite late and I hadnt eaten all day so I asked the receptionist for a recommendation of somewhere close to go that served good food and wasnt too expensive She recommended Gastrobar Bassoa and all I can say is yes yes yes It was quite literally a 2 3 min walk from the hostel and the staff were so lovely I practiced my Spanish with them they recommended a lovely glass of wine and I had a few small tapas dishes It was a very nice welcome to Malaga Would I recommend staying there Yes and no truthfully The shower facilities were great and I was very excited to try the jacuzzi so slightly disappointed when I found out it was shut I really enjoyed trying the different shampoos and conditioners and the cream that they had to offer if youre someone that loves to travel and you dont want to have to pack these extra things then this is a big positive about this hostel I LOVED the mirrors in both the pod and the bathroom cant believe a mirror can play music and connect to Spotify now THAT is cool The hostelhotel is very quirky and the gaming zone is somewhere where you can have fun for hours no doubt but do you really want to travel to an interesting foreign destination and then spend your time doing what you would be doing at home As for the pod the pod was very comfortable and spacious it had air conditioning a little vent so I didnt feel too hot at any point The sound proofing is not very good though you can hear every little more around you If Im honest I got at most 45 hours sleep each night which may be enough for some but I love my sleep The TV in my pod didnt work which was disappointing hopefully youll have more luck that me if you go and stay futurotel podhostel podhotel hostellife spaintravel malaga travelyoutuber gamingcommunity gaminghotspot
